French Confit Pots

A French confit pot, also known as a confiturier, is a traditional kitchen vessel originally used in French cuisine to preserve food. The pot was designed to store food in a cool, dark place to cover and preserve the contents.

How to Display:

  • Planters: Their wide, deep shape makes them ideal for holding plants, particularly those with a natural or wild look, such as herbs, small trees, or trailing vines.

  • Vases: They can also be used as vases for fresh flowers or dried arrangements, providing a lovely contrast between the flowers and the rustic, earthy tones of the pot.

  • Accent Pieces: A confit pot can stand alone as a statement piece on a kitchen counter, mantel, or console table. Its vintage character works well in country-inspired or farmhouse-style interiors, adding texture and warmth to the room.
