There is something so enduringly beautiful about decorating with evergreen. Fresh, calming, and quietly festive, it brings a sense of life and permanence to the home at Christmas: a reminder of nature’s beauty at the very moment the world outside begins to slow.
Inspired by the timeless charm of richly layered green interiors, The Evergreen Christmas celebrates festive decorating through the elegance of foliage, texture, and tone. Verdant wreaths, sculptural topiary, soft velvet, checked linens, green glassware and classic white ceramics come together to create a Christmas that feels traditional, yet fresh in its simplicity.
The palette is grounded in shades of evergreen, moss, olive and pine, softened by creamy whites and natural neutrals. Boxwood wreaths, miniature potted trees and clipped topiary lend structure and form, while glass ornaments, candlelight and gentle festive details bring warmth and seasonal magic. Rather than relying on excess, the beauty lies in repetition — green layered upon green, with each texture adding richness and depth.
Tables feel thoughtful yet effortless, dressed with crisp or softly washed linens, elegant crockery, candles, and touches of living greenery. A velvet cushion, a favourite checked napkin, a beautiful green tumbler or a simple arrangement of white flowers all contribute to the story. Decorative accents feel collected and classic — timeless pieces that return each year and never lose their charm.
There is a freshness to this theme, but also a sense of tradition. It evokes the kind of Christmas that feels calm, inviting and beautifully considered — one where the house is gently dressed for the season with wreaths on doors, greenery on mantels, and candlelight flickering across the table as family and friends gather.
The Evergreen Christmas is a celebration of the lasting beauty of nature, the elegance of simplicity, and the timeless appeal of decorating with green.
