Easter provides an opportunity to gather with your loved ones to share and connect over a meal, games, and festive activities.

For inspiration, we are sharing the 3 Easter table looks we created this year, with Alfresco, Casual, and Formal dining options.

Whether you are hosting Easter brunch, lunch, or dinner, or you are after some creative visual inspiration for your Autumn tablescape, we hope you feel inspired to experiment with these natural, foraged, and creative tablescape ideas.

Easter Table Styling: Fresh, Green, & Textural

Our first Easter setting draws inspiration from the Forest, creating a whimsical look with an abundant tapestry of greenery and nature-inspired decor. The key here is layering. With a textural grey-washed rattan table and matching chairs as the base, layer the table with rattan placemats, dinner and side plates, and natural linen placemats in soft pastel colours.

Gather natural elements from your garden or local park to create your own nests and centrepieces. Foraging in your local surroundings is a relaxing way to spend time,  letting your eye guide you to the natural beauty that surrounds your every day -  fallen leaves, pine cones, feathers, acorns, vines, and mossy branches.

The centrepiece featured a fanciful vignette of Spanish moss, rustic wooden log candleholders, pine-cone candles, hand-painted eggs, and glass domes, which housed a keepsake of a nest, decorative bird, and vintage books.

Stainless steel flatware added gentle shimmer adjacent to our Verde Florence hand-painted dinner plates and white Sthal scalloped side plates. The floral arrangement featured dried hydrangeas in muted pinks and autumnal colours. Decorative touches add to the whimsey, such as the Danish hand-crafted linen bunnies, complimented by our French dinner candles and cushions in floral patterns and velvety throws.

Easter Table Styling: Warm, Bright, & Rich

In our second look, we captured the colours of autumn with warmer gold and amber tones to create a cozy and charming Parisian-style look. The round marble-topped table was laid with a gold toile tablecloth, and the space was anchored with a vintage alabaster birdbath as the centrepiece, filled with magnolia leaves and ruscus for fresh living energy.

The formal crown cutlery set in white added freshness and contrasted nicely with the relaxed rattan placemats. We layered chalky white Sthal side plates on top of vintage hand-painted dinner plates, creating a nice link to the green and gold colour theme. The warmth of the Italian amber drinking vessels and ceramic dishes add luminescence to the tabletop.

Soft furnishings include a mix of colourful bee and foliage print cushions, velvet throws, and rustic touches of twigs and nests to bring the outdoors in.

Easter Table Styling: Classic, Elegant, and Refined

The inspiration for the third look was a classic, semi-formal tablescape that served as a space for all-day entertaining and afternoon tea.

The focal point was the layering of blue and white ginger jars & ceramics, silver candleholders, and glass vases laid on top of a simple white linen tablecloth for a more formal look. Relax the look by keeping the natural timber table top as your base.

Since the table functioned as an afternoon tea station, we wanted to keep a relaxed setting, layering the ceramic plates, cutlery, and napkins, alongside a statement cake stand, allowing guests to gather either at the table or to use the space to serve.

The oversized glass pedestal vase featured the floral centrepiece with a mix of fresh ruscus leaves, trailing ivy, and faux green berry garlands. A collection of smaller vessels contained a mix of succulents, moss, freesias, and other cut green foliage. Festive touches included vintage milk glass vessels filled with Spanish moss and painted eggs, ridged votives, and silver easter bunny candleholders, adding the warmth of candlelight.
