The Colourist is a unique Bookazine (editorial like a magazine, no adverts like a book) dedicated to sharing Annie Sloan’s passion for colour. It is a collectable, bi-annual publication featuring 132 carefully curated pages bound in a covetable cover.
In Issue 5 we focus on heat and spice; the theme centres on a joyful Chalk Paint® palette of Barcelona Orange, Emperor’s Silk and Antoinette and features exclusive photography from Annie’s trip to India in January 2020.
Also featured are “30 Top Tips For 30 Years of Chalk Paint®”, creative lockdown projects by you, home tours and how-tos, career-changing women and the resurgence of chintz. Discover how furniture artists have been inspired by vintage colour theory diagrams, and travel the world of colour – literally and figuratively, from the spice markets of India to the Swedish Archipelagos.
This issue also features a vintage-style Cavallini-inspired colour chart poster, designed by Felix Sloan.
