Amalfi CoastRegular price $195.00 Save $-195.00
The Amalfi Coast is the pinnacle of the Italian dream. Tucked amongst the lemon blossoms and the bougainvillea is a line of thirteen towns that comprise the Amalfi Coast. Known for its vertical landscape, the villages are only accessible via the Strada Statale 163 - a narrow, winding, cliffside route that while unsettling to traverse, offers unparalleled views. This magical strip joins the mountains and the Mediterranean Sea below and aesthetes from around the world flock here year after year to enjoy its quaint pebbled beaches, scenic hikes, perfect climate and legendary establishments, which are not limited to storied hotels and restaurants. Landmarks from the Cathedral in Amalfi to Villa Rufolo in Ravello, all evoke the culture and the spirit of bygone centuries, and landmarks enjoyed by the likes of Jacqueline Kennedy, John Steinbeck, and Gore Vidal abound. With its signature limoncello, both grown and enjoyed locally, finest villas and breathtaking vistas, the Amalfi Coast is in a class of its own.

Wood and Iron | Industrial InteriorsRegular price $59.99 Save $-59.99
Industrial style has become one of the most influential interior design trends of recent years.
Following the second industrial revolution, strong developments in industry resulted in a change in the concept of furniture design in the same way as it transformed society.
Its nostalgic aesthetic and the sincerity and crudeness of its materials and functionality made it popular in working class neighbourhoods in the United States, giving birth to the loft living concept.
The advent of new materials and the possibilities for bulk manufacturing gave rise to pieces that have today become icons of modern design.
This book is intended as a source of inspiration and guidance for those making their foray into the world of industrial style, presenting the most influential names in the genre, anonymous pieces salvaged from junk shops and carefully selected interior design projects.

Remy Meijers: Simply ElegantRegular price $135.00 Save $-135.00
Interior architect Remy Meijers became famous for his ability to create balance in the most diverse spaces. The starting point of his work is a holistic approach in which all elements are perfectly matched. This approach creates interiors that exude a pleasant sense of repose, in all their simplicity.
A good example is the prestigious 5-star hotel The Dylan in Amsterdam. But the estates, mansions, villas, cottages, commercial and exhibition spaces designed by Meijers' capable hands also reflect his vision of interior architecture.
As part of his overall vision, Remy Meijers usually designs the furniture and accessories himself, both for his own collection and for a number of collections from leading brands. This book shows his most recent projects. "An interior can only be balanced when every detail is thought about" - Remy Meijers. "The power of an interior is in its tranquility, not in its hassle." - Remy Meijers
AUTHORS: Remy Meijers worked for a number of design companies before he started his own business in 2000, designing for villas, estates, mansions, offices and shops. Paul Geerts is a freelance journalist, who has been writing about design, living, gardening, art and culture since 1989. Puppy Problems; The Dog's Eyeview on Caring For Your PetRegular price $19.99 Save $-19.99
You just got home with your brand-new puppy: you walked in the door together, he peed a little on the floor, you mopped it up, and now you're sitting looking at each other.
What next? If you've had the foresight to buy a copy of Puppy Problems: The Dog's Eye View, you'll already have a plan. Not only is it an indispensable guide to the first year - and beyond - but it's also the first book to look at situations from the puppy's, as well as the human's, point of view.
Dog cognition studies are on the rise; science knows more than it ever has about the ways in which dogs think and feel. And if you are able to take a puppy-level view of your new pet's life, it will help you to understand why he loves what he loves, what things might scare him - and how you can help him to overcome his fear - and why he does the things you'd prefer he didn't do (so that you can come up with kind, constructive ways to get him to stop).
In a sensible, easy-to-follow text that offers invaluable insights into the world as seen through your puppy's eyes, you’ll find essential guidance on: eating, sleeping, playing, training, socialising (both with people and with other dogs), problem-solving, and building the best-ever relationship with your puppy.

Goats And Sheep: A Portrait FarmRegular price $59.99 Save $-59.99
A selection of goats and sheep portraits in a profile, a sideward glance, or direct gaze.
When American photographer Kevin Horan moved from city to country, he found among his animal companions goats and sheep whose chorus of sounds suggested they were not just herd animals, but perhaps individuals as well.
Experienced in portraiture, Horan decided to photograph them in his studio, as though they were privileged clients.
The resulting images ask us to notice the variety, dignity, and personalities of these lowliest of creatures, who speak to us through the camera in a profile, a sideward glance, or direct gaze.
With different coats, faces, and expressions, they are funny, fascinating, intelligent, curious, engaging "others" who command our undivided attention and respect.
They remind us that we too are fellow creatures - and the camera isn't always on us.

Fierce Beauty: Storms of The Great PlainsRegular price $130.00 Save $-130.00
Eric Meola became interested in storms during a 1977 road trip across Nevada to photograph an album cover for musician Bruce Springsteen. While driving on a long dirt road in the desert they encountered a violent storm, and Springsteen wrote a song about the experience called 'The Promised Land'. Meola was transfixed as well by the display of nature's fury: "I always wanted to go back to that day when we drove up on a hilltop and watched as lightning revealed the valley floor."
Meola began to photograph the tornadic storms of the Great Plains - the area in America's heartland west of the 98th meridian and east of the Rockies. Driving through the area known as Tornado Alley - from the Rio Grande in southern Texas, north to the Canadian provinces of Alberta and Saskatchewan - he photographed a forbidding landscape where atmospheric instability collides with moisture from the Gulf of Mexico and spectacular cumulonimbus clouds form at twilight.
Over a period of several years he documented a landscape of elemental forces, where immense storms percolate miles above the ground, rotating with energy until tornadoes spin on the horizon. And he discovered a country of haunting beauty where the wail of coyotes and the glow of constellations fill the prairie's void with simple graces. Fierce Beauty: Storms of the Great Plains includes more than one hundred photographs made during six seasons of tornadoes, lightning, dust storms, and storm phenomena, as well as a detailed and vivid description of a moment-by-moment close encounter with a cataclysmic tornado by renowned storm chaser and meteorologist William T. Reid.
- Features more than 100 detailed and atmospheric photographs of tornadoes, lightning, dust storms, and storm phenomena taken during four decades of personal trips to the Great Plains and during six seasons of chasing storms, from 1977 to 2019
- Chronicles Eric Meola's initiation into storm chasing during a trip to Nevada with Bruce Springsteen in the late 1970s to make photographs that eventually would be used on Springsteen's album The Promise, and which he documented in the song 'The Promised Land'
100 colour photographs - Hardcover
